BRALETTE BRA - WHO WILL IT BE A GOOD CHOICE FOR? HOW TO WEAR BRALETTES?

Choosing the right bra is a real challenge - every woman who at least once faced the need to choose the right size and style not only for her measurements, but also for a specific style knows it. The number of different types available in stores can make you dizzy, so before buying it is worth looking at the individual types and seeing which one will work best in your case. One of the styles that has been very popular recently is the bralette bra. Find out what you should know about it.

Bralette bra - what is it?

A bralette bra, often simply called a bralette, is a model of a triangular bra devoid of all kinds of supports. Its popularity is primarily due to its great comfort when worn. In this case, we can forget about oppressive underwires or inserts - bralette bras are completely soft. They can look like a decorative crop top, because they are often made entirely of soft lace. Many bralettes have an additional basque that adds sexappeal to the whole.

Bralette - for whom it will work best?

Due to the lack of any stiffeners, bralettes are dedicated primarily to women with slightly smaller breasts. They are perfect for everyday use, because they are one of the most comfortable bra types. Many women also appreciate their aesthetic qualities - a simple, triangular structure gives the whole sexiness. The huge popularity of bralettes is also due to their nonchalance - the whole charm of this bra type lies in the fact that we give up artificial push-ups and embarrassing underwires and emphasize natural, small breasts, proving that they can also look sexy.

Nevertheless, it is worth remembering that most bralettes are available up to size 42 or a D cup - depending on the size adopted by a given brand. This is mainly due to practical reasons - soft bras are not able to support a large breast and will simply be uncomfortable during everyday use. In this case, it is worth choosing bras with underwire, but with a soft cup - thanks to this, the bust will have adequate support, but a soft cup will give us more freedom.

How to choose the right size?

As for the size itself, in the case of bralettes it is extremely diverse. It is not uncommon to encounter a similar system as in the case of clothes - S, M, L etc. This is especially popular with bralettes that do not have an adjustable closure at the back. However, many brands also offer a traditional division into the size of the band and the cup, thanks to which we can precisely adjust the bralette to our measurements.

Due to the large selection of bralettes, it may be a good idea to measure your body accurately. Start by measuring the circumference under the bust, then measure your breasts. Calculate the difference between the obtained dimensions and compare the result with the size chart available in a given store. This is definitely the best way to get a good bralette fit - many women are guided by their standard size, but due to the lack of any stiffeners, it is worth spending an extra few minutes to carefully check your measurements. Then we can be sure that the bralette will fit well and hold the bust. Due to the very little support, an ill-fitting bralette can be uncomfortable during everyday use.

Types of bralettes

Thanks to the great popularity of bralettes, we can now find many different styles in stores, which we can easily match to our expectations and preferences.

Classic bralette bra - who will it work best for?

The most common model is the classic bralette, which is devoid of any stiffeners. It is usually made of delicate lace and has simple, triangular cups. To slightly increase the attractiveness, it is often supplemented with additional stitching, a decorative basque or a decorative fastening on the back, thanks to which it works great with blouses with a large neckline. It is an ideal solution for women who value comfort and do not need too much breast support. The classic bralette will also be appreciated by lovers of V-neck T-shirts, where the decorative lace of the bralette will be beautifully exposed.

Bralette with a cup - maximum comfort

It happens that on store shelves we can also find a bralette with a cup. It is not stiffened in any way - it is just an additional layer of material between the lace and the skin. This is a very good solution for women who would like to cover their nipples - e.g. because of a see-through shirt - or do not like when the slightly rough lace has direct contact with the skin. Due to the greater support, these types of models are often available in larger sizes, so they are great for medium-sized breasts.

Push-up

If you value the comfort of the lack of underwiring, but would like to shape your bust a bit, a bralette with a push-up bra will be a great choice. This type of model has an additional cup and a breast enhancement insert. Usually, push-up bras have an adjustable closure at the back and a slightly more rounded construction at the front, which resembles classic bras.

Casual cotton bralette

Although the classic bralette bra is made of lace, more and more often we can find casual models made of soft cotton. It's a great choice for women who value comfort or don't like lace trim. Cotton bralettes are perfect for everyday use and for more cut-out clothes - due to the lack of lace, they are almost invisible. Many women also use them while exercising.

How to wear bralettes?

Due to their decorative form, bralettes are an excellent choice for fashion lovers. It has been known for a long time that our outfit is influenced not only by the clothes themselves, but also by underwear. The sexy and very decorative cut of the bralettes will certainly give you confidence and make you feel special even in the most casual styling.

Bralettes are recommended primarily in the summer - the lack of stiffeners and the soft texture allow the free flow of air, thanks to which we will not be as hot as in an ordinary stiffened bra. In winter, however, you can bet on cotton bralettes, which will be a natural barrier between the biting sweater and the skin.

A very popular solution is to wear colorful bralettes under the shirt. Then a beautiful, lace pattern subtly shines through the material, adding ‘a claw’ to the whole outfit. The triangular form of the bralette also allows you to wear very deep necklines, which may prove to be a practical solution in the case of cut-out summer dresses. In the everyday version, the bralette looks very good with a plain V-neck T-shirt. A fairly deep neckline is crucial in this case - thanks to this you will be able to present the lace finish of the bra. Bralettes are also great for clothes with an exposed back - most of them do not have a fastener, thanks to which the back of the bra looks really beautiful.
